Undoubtedly, it’s pretty much known that India is not the priority for Apple. They have always considered China above India when it comes to launch their devices including iPhone. Apple devices owners have complained about this significant delay on it repeatedly. But even if the product is launched way before the expectations, it hasn’t been priced correctly due to the intervention of carrier partners.
Recently, a report from BGR.in suggests that iPhone 5 would be launched in India on October 26. They have confirmed it from multiple sources and according to them, this is day billions of Indians have been waiting for since iPhone 5 has been announced. Also, it’s pretty much expected that the price of iPhone 5 would reach beyond Rs 48,000. Hence, it’s very much unlikely that it would replace the prices of iPhone 4S which has lately seen a price drop in India.
It was previously rumoured that in addition to carriers, other retailers would also sell the iPhone 5. Although this news is unconfirmed, but one could expect that nano-sim orders have already been placed for the upcoming iPhone 5 launch. iPhone 5 has a bigger display, an A6 processor, thinner design, lighter and a partially covered anodised aluminium at the back etc. Would you buy iPhone 5 at this price?
